Subject: looking for someone to teach self-reliance skills

hey people,
My NGO, down to earth (DTE) is looking at starting a self-reliance programme for women who live in the slums. Over the last year, these women have been making bags, jewellery, cards, mats, napkins etc that DTE has sold at a variety of exhibitions held at fairs and corporates with reasonable success. Now, we are looking at taking this to a slightly more professional level. So, we are looking for a person / people who would be able to dedicate some time and energy to teach these women a few skills that could make their products have a professional edge.
the requirements are:
1. any single / multiple skill (making bags, jewellery, placemats, cards etc) that they could teach.
2. ability to teach a group of approx 10 women.
3. would have to make a time commitement of at least 3 hours a week for 3 months. (this depends on the person and there shalll be complete flexibility.)
4. the resource person would have to travel to cuffe parade (DTE rents a room within the Ambedkar Nagar slum) or be located somewhere around eg: colaba, cuffe, navy nagar, CST.

would be great if we could involve you or anyone you know so pls pass this on :)
am also attaching a couple of DTE newsletters so that you have an idea of who we are and what we do.
thanks a million.
